America Online has a strong filtering system in place to prevent unwanted e-mails from being delivered to your mailbox. Unfortunately, their spam filtering software can mistake important e-mails as being spam. It is possible, and even likely that e-mails regarding your order may be filtered out and never reach you. There are several ways to set your account preferences so that AOL will successfully deliver e-mails from us to you. Please rest assured that Kits for Crafts does not condone spam, nevers sells e-mail addresses and never sends bulk email. Please read our Privacy Policy for details.
In order to make changes to your America Online Mail and Spam Controls, you will need to be signed on with either the master screen name for your account or a screen name assigned to the "General Access Age Category." A master screen name is the first screen name that was created for your account (the screen name used to sign up for AOL) or any screen name you have designated as a master screen name. For more information about master screen names and age categories, please visit AOL Keyword: PARENTAL CONTROLS.
Please take the following steps:
- Select BLOCK UNWANTED MAIL from the MAIL menu. You can also go to AOL Keyword: MAIL AND SPAM CONTROLS.
- Select the Screen Name that you wish to adjust from the drop-down menu at the top of the Mail and Spam Controls window.
Note: Screen Names on a General Access category can only adjust their own Mail Controls. A Master Screen Name can adjust the Mail Controls of any screen name on the account.
- There are several ways you may set your account to ensure that you will receive e-mail from us. The different settings are described below so you can choose the right one for your needs. Next to "Sender Filter," click EDIT to find these settings. We recommend the first option, "Custom Sender List."
Custom Sender List Option | People I Know Option | Allow Mail from All Senders
The easiest way is to add our domains to your approved list. This way is the best method since it doesn't differentiate between our different email addresses, but allows any email from our domains to be delivered to your inbox. To setup this option, choose the option for "Use Custom Sender List", then click on the words "Use Custom Sender List" and add our 3 domains to your custom list (being careful not to remove the others that are probably listed there like aol.com). Choose Allow only the senders and domains listed below, then type in our domain followed by clicking add. Then click Save to save your list, save again to save your choice and save once more to return to your AOL.

The second way is to add the addresses that we use to your address book (so we are considered "People You Know.") This will allow you to receive any e-mail sent from these addresses. The following e-mail addresses are the ones that we send e-mail from:
- orderdesk@kitsforcrafts.com - If you prefer to place your order through e-mail, please send your e-mail order to this address. For the security of your credit card information, please remember that credit card information should not be supplied when sending orders via e-mail. Orders placed through email may take longer to process.
- help@kitsforcrafts.com - Questions about how to use a product? Please use this e-mail address to contact us about our products or to obtain assistance in using them!
- information@kitsforcrafts.com - Please use this e-mail address to ask general questions that don't fall into any of the other e-mail address.
- orderstatus@kitsforcrafts.com - Have a question about an order you've placed? Please use this e-mail address.
- webmaster@kitsforcrafts.com - If our Web site is causing an error or if you are having trouble using some part of our Web site, please direct your questions here.
- advertising@kitsforcrafts.com - Please direct marketing inquiries to this address.
With this option, you will need to enter each individual address into your address book. You also could miss replies to yourR questions sent from our staffmembers' personal e-mail addresses not listed above. To set up this option, choose the option "Allow mail only from people I Know," then click SAVE to save your choice. Save once more to return to AOL. Be sure to add us to your address book to identify us as "People you Know".

While this is an option, we don't suggest you turn this option on, as it will turn off ALL spam filtering. If you wish to turn this option on, choose "Allow Mail from All Senders". Then click Save to save your choice and save once more to return to your AOL.
