About the Kits

Kits for Crafts offers a large assortment of kits for making unique handmade bath, body and home care products using gentle ingredients. Our selection of kits includes Bath Salts, Body Butters, Salt Scrubs, Sugar Scrubs, Glycerin Soaps, Fizzy Bath Bombs, Milk Baths and more. Each kit is designed to be fun, educational and easy for children to make with adult assistance. Although our kits were designed with children in mind, they can be enjoyed by crafters of all ages!

While kids have a blast making exciting products that they can enjoy or give to loved ones, they also expand their knowledge about natural ingredients, measurements and the chemistry of skin care products. Kits for Crafts kits help children improve their ability to follow directions, and the kits teach them how skin care products are made from start to finish. With the addition of other optional ingredients, they can also learn how to create their own unique recipes and products. In most cases, the recipes can be made with all-natural ingredients for those with sensitive skin.

Kits for Crafts also offers ingredient refills, attractive bath accessories, packaging materials and equipment. With a little creativity, children can create an endless array of their very own handmade skin care products!

Each kit includes a detailed instruction sheet that children can use later to complete their very own Kits for Crafts Scrapbook (sold separately). The scrapbook provides a fun way for children to organize and store their Kits for Crafts recipes for future reference.

About Our Company

We first became interested in natural skin care when our daughter developed eczema. After trying various commercial products, we realized that the ingredients in most products would do more harm than good when applied repeatedly throughout the day.

While the FDA approves all cosmetic products for occasional normal use, we discovered that the FDA does not test for safety when the product is used repeatedly to treat chronic dry skin.

We then decided to turn to natural oils and butters as an alternative to treat our daughter's eczema. We were delighted with the results.

Our experience and study of various botanical oils led us to start a wholesale natural skin care ingredients company. Our wholesale company has grown along with our knowledge of natural skin care. We have truly enjoyed educating others about the benefits of natural ingredients. During our countless conversations with homeschooling parents and teachers, we realized that health awareness should begin with children. The numerous requests for pre-packaged kits was the inspiration that led to Kits of Crafts.

We personally formulate and create each Kits For Crafts kit with our own children as our testers. We specifically test for ease of completion, safety and enjoyment of the final product.
